Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (QCF)
The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (QCF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed to equip candidates with the essential skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support in an emergency situation.
Who Should Attend?
It is the perfect qualification for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support for adults and children. It is also ideal for qualified first aiders who are looking to refresh their knowledge and practise the latest basic life support techniques.
Candidates are assessed by ongoing practical assessment, multiple-choice test and oral examination. On completion, students receive a Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support for Adults and Children, valid for 1 year
This qualification is valid for a period of 1 year. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.
Learners must be at least 16 years old on the first day of the training.
