The qualification is designed for learners who have contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults in their working environment including voluntary work.
The qualification promotes awareness and sensitivity to safeguarding enabling learners to be able to identify issues and emphasises the responsibility to ensure that concerns are reported and acted on appropriately.
The Level 3 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) qualification is intended for those who are working with children, young people and adults at risk, including those in voluntary or unpaid positions.
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop a greater understanding of how to safeguard and protect children, young people and adults.
By the end of this course the learner will:
- Understand how to safeguard and protect children, young people or vulnerable adults in the workplace
- Know how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child, young person or vulnerable adult has been abused
1 x Theory assessments (mixed short answer and multiple-choice paper)
